What is Paintless Dent Removal ( PDR )?
Paintless Dent Removal, otherwise known as PDR, is the car body repair process for removing cosmetic and some larger dents, from vehicle body panels without paints, chemicals or body fillers. Paintless Dent Removal is best utilised when there is no paint damage to the dented area.
Precision machined, specially designed tools are used by highly trained and experienced PDR technicians to restore dented and damaged body work back to its original position, whilst keeping the original paint finish intact.
A combination of pushing, pulling, tapping, and blending are used to manipulate and move the metal back to it’s original position, eliminating the dent in the process.
PDR can be offered as a mobile technician service, looking after car dealerships, bodyshops and the general public, or as a dedicated drive in service, where the customers travel to you to have their dents removed at a fixed location.
Paintless Dent Removal is a high value, superior repair method, due to its noninvasive nature. No replacement parts are used and the originality and integrity of the car remains intact.
Why Use Paintless dent Removal?
- It’s faster, dents can be removed in minutes or hours
- It’s the superior dent removal method compared to repair and paint, when applicable
- It’s high value as your car remains original with no foreign parts or paint.
- It’s environmentally friendly as no chemicals are used in the dent repair process.
